around themselves; the children are able to add images, text and decorate the
background. This would be a useful website to use when you have a new class, as
it allows you to learn about the children in the class; whilst assessing their
work.

Wordle is a great program that allows you to place lots of
keywords into one place, whilst making it engaging for the reader. This would
be really useful for children when they need to remember key vocabulary in
their lessons. It could also support their spelling, having the same word
repeated in different sizes and colour might make it easier to remember the
correct spelling of a word.
I found your comment about using the storybook resource with a new class really useful, as this is something I had not thought of! I agree that it would help in finding things out about the class and allowing them to get to know one another, as well as the teacher. I thought it would be interesting for us a teachers to do a storybook first as a model, that way the class can find out information about us too so that they feel welcome and comfortable in their new classroom.
